Pregnancy or Premenstrual Syndrome?
Pregnancy or Premenstrual Syndrome
Early pregnancy symptoms can often mimic those of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It can be difficult to know if a woman is pregnant or experiencing the onset of another menstrual period.
It is important for a woman to find out if she is pregnant as soon as possible so that she can receive prenatal care. He may also want to make lifestyle changes, such as avoiding alcohol, taking prenatal vitamins, and optimizing his diet.
Taking a pregnancy test is the best and easiest way to determine if you have PMS or an early pregnancy. You can take an exam at home or visit your healthcare provider.
Some common symptoms seen in both PMS and early pregnancy include:
breast pain
bleeding
mood changes
tiredness
food sensitivities
Contraction
Early pregnancy and PMS are often difficult to distinguish. Learn to tell the two apart with the help of this Venn diagram.
